These cloths worked great for me when cleaning my car windows and mirrors. I have also used them on my bathroom mirrors and glass doors in the house. They work great! I would buy them again.

Spring Time Is Here And So Is Spring Cleaning

Spring Is In The Air!

With spring just a few days off, now is the time to prepare for the spring cleaning that is just around the corner. It has been a long and cold winter with the view of snow seen probably more than was anticipated. As much as I love snow and all the fun you can have sledding and enjoying the great views and landscapes that are created by winter I am looking forward to a change of view out the window.

Crystal Clear Spring Views!

With spring come the leaves budding out and the flowers coming up. To enjoy the view I try to clean our windows so I can see the changes come about. I can clean inside but it is hard to get the outside until temperatures warm up. With spring, we start to see gradually warming temperatures and the chance that we have been looking for to get the spring cleaning in full gear.

Traditional Methods!

I am really concerned about the products that are being used to get windows clean. I have used the traditional products over the years and I find that they work ok and will clean the windows but they also will leave streaks, specks, and smudges. I have tried using paper towels to no avail, they leave lent on the windows. When I have tried cotton towels, they work ok but also leave specks and lint on the window along with streaks. I have tried the old time newspaper trick, where you clean the window with old newspaper, but they leave filaments on the glass and I don’t even get the newspaper anymore, I read my news online.

The Right Tool!

What I have found that works the best for cleaning windows, stainless steel appliances, mirrors, glass table tops, pictures, light fixtures is the ProCo Microfiber Slick Glass Cleaning Cloth. This cloth is meant to be used without chemicals; such as glass cleaners, so no chemical spray ends up on my flowers or plants. When I use this cloth, it leaves the slick surface that I am cleaning speck-free, smudge-free, lint-free and streak-free.
I use a misting bottle to spray tap water on the windows or surface area that I am cleaning, then I wipe the surface with the microfiber cloth to remove the moisture, then fold the cloth around and wipe again to get the crystal clear view that I am looking for. This brand of cloth can be machined washed with the other microfiber cloths that I use out of the package then dried. So far I have been able to reuse these cloths over and over again with no sign of wear or tear. Try doing that with newspaper or cloth towels.

The Results!

I can now look out my windows and will be able to see and enjoy all the changes coming our way with spring flowers blooming and trees turning green again and know that I was able to get this view with an environmentally friendly product.
